Directions
Located in England's North West, Liverpool is easy to get to and is well served by Rail, Road, Air and Sea. At the heart of Merseyside, Liverpool is further enhanced by its neighbours Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral.
By Road :
As you approach the city centre, follow signs for Pier Head and the Isle of Man ferry terminal. Princes Dock is just to the north of the Liver Building and is accessed from the junction of Chapel Street/New Quay from the south - veer left at the Liver Building (the Crowne Plaza and Thistle Hotels are either side of New Quay at this point), or from the north via the Dock Road (A5036) - turn right into the dock at the traffic island just after Waterloo Warehouse (on the right) and Costco (on the left).
Parking:
We have limited parking facilities at Princes Dock. If you have not been allocated a car space in advance there is a Pay and Display facility at Princes Dock and New Quay NCP car park is close by.
By Rail :
InterCity services arrive at Liverpool Lime Street station - about 25 minutes walk away from Princes Dock, or 15 minutes by taxi. Alternatively, the underground system can be accessed at Lime Street with regular services to James Street (Wirral Line) or Moorfields (Northern Line - change at Central Station).
By Air:
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 8 miles south of the City Centre. Taxis are available at the airport or the Airlink bus, no. 500 runs every 20 minutes, stopping at the Thistle Hotel - approximately a 5 minute walk from TMP).
By Bus:
No. 500 bus from the airport. Also the S2 and S3 routes link Princes Dock with the Queen Square bus interchange and other key locations in the city centre
